Facebook Revamps the Like Button

Facebook-Like-Button

Clicked 22 billion times every day and has the presence of over 7.5 million websites, the Facebook Like Button is one of the most iconic buttons of all times. Facebook just decided to take it down!

Yup. It wasn’t a typo on our end, Facebook has decided to do a little makeover on their Like Button and has introduced a new, sleek, and better Like Button with vector graphics to ensure smooth display on screens with higher resolutions.

The first thing you’d notice in the new Like Button of Facebook is that the iconic thumb is gone. Instead of the thumb, the new button has new Facebook “f” logo and the exactly opposite color scheme: blue in background and white for text.

Facebook has started rolling out these new Like Buttons and they will be available to all of these 7.5 million websites soon, according to the official Facebook post launching the new icon.

What do you think about the new improved like button? Do you think that changing a button that has become an icon/brand symbol for Facebook is a good move? Let us know via comments.
